Onion Tambli / ullagadde tambli / eerulli tambli
Ingredients: 1 cup = 250 ml
  • Grated coconut - 1/2 cup
  • Onion - 1/2 (medium sized)
  • Cumin seeds - 1/2 tspoon
  • Curd / butter milk - 2 tbl spoons or 1/4 cup
  • Salt - according to taste
Method:
Step 1. Grind grated coconut (1/4 cup) along with chopped onion (1/2), cumin seeds (1/2 tspoon) and water. Grind it to fine paste.

 Step 2. Add curd (2 tbl spoons) and grind for two more seconds. You can also use butter milk instead, no need to grind then.
 

 Step 3. Add water and salt (according to taste). In winter, you may heat it for one to two minutes-but don't boil.

 Step 4. Enjoy!
