Cooked rice bonda / annada bonda
Cooked rice bonda / annada bonda can be prepared for evening snacks.

Ingredients: 1 cup = 250 ml

  • Cooked rice - 1 cup
  • Besan flour - 1/2 to 3/4 cup
  • Onion - 1 medium
  • Green chilly - 2 (as you like)
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon (after grating)
  • Curry leaves - 2 strands,
  • Salt - as required.


Method:
Step 1. Grind cooked rice with some water, grind it into a coarse paste.


Step 2. Add besan flour to rice paste and mix well.

Step 3. Add other ingredients-chopped green chillies, onion, curry leaves, grated ginger and salt to above paste. Mix well.

Step 4. Heat oil in kadai

Step 5. Drop bonda in the oil and deep fry. Fry all sides till the colour changes.





Step 6. Enjoy!

Tip: Use water as low as possible while preparing rice paste in grinder. More water means bonda absorps more oil.
