Raw banana hashi / baalekayi hashi
Raw banana hashi / baalekayi hashi is a havyaka recipe for lunch and dinner.

Ingredients: 1 cup = 100 ml
  • Raw bananas - 13 to 14 (if small) or 1(if it is bigger one)
  • Grated coconut - 1/4 cup
  • Green chilly - 1/2
  • Curd - 2 tbl spoons
  • Salt for taste


For seasoning:
  • Urad dal - 1 tspoon
  • Mustard seeds - 1 tspoon
  • Hing - a pinch
  • Red chilly - 1/2
  • Oil - 1 tspoon


Method:
Step 1. Cook raw bananas in a cooker ~ 1 whistle, allow it to cool.

Step 2. Grind grated coconut and green chilly in little water.

Step 3. Peel outer skin of raw banana and chop. (Don't throw outer skin, tasty chutney can be prepared from it)

 Step 4. Add chopped banana to ground paste of coconut, also add curd and salt, keep aside.

Step 5. Now season it with urad dal, mustard seeds, hing, red chilly in oil, mix well. Enjoy!
