Ingredients:
- Dry kokum - 5 to 6 pieces
- Green chillies - 2
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 tspoon
- Jaggery - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - for taste
- Tomato - 1
- Onion - 1 small
- Rasam powder - 1/2 tspoon
- Mustard seeds - 1/4 tspoon
- Curry leaves - 4 to 5
- Garlic - 3 to 4 cloves
- Oil - 1 tspoon
Method:
- Wash kokum. Then soak kokam for 10 minutes in 3 cups of water in a vessel.
- Then to this vessel, add chopped tomato, onion, green chillies, turmeric powder, jaggery, salt. Place it on gas stove on medium flame and allow it to boil.
- When it boils, add rasam powder and boil for 5 more minutes. Turn off the stove.
- Season it with garlic, mustard seeds and curry leaves in oil.
