Mango sasive / maavina hannina sasive

Ingredients:

  • Ripened mangoes - 2


For masala:

  • Grated coconut - 1/4 cup
  • Jaggery - 1 tbl spoon or more(depending on sweetness of mango)
  • Salt
  • Mustard seeds - 1 tspoon
  • Onion - 1 tspoon
  • Garlic - 1 clove
  • Badagi red chillies - 2


For seasoning:

  • Oil - 1 tspoon
  • Mustard seeds - 1/4 tspoon
  • Garlic - 1 clove (optional)
  • Curry leaves - 4 to 5


Method:
1: Wash mangoes and extract juice from it, and add 1/4 cup water to mango juice.



2: Grind grated coconut along with jaggery, salt, mustard seeds, onion, garlic, red chillies with some water. Make it a fine paste.


3: Add ground masala to mango juice. (Boiling is optional)


4: Season it with mustard seeds, garlic, curry leaves in oil.
