Kesuvina Gadde Hashi
Kesuvina Gadde Hashi /colocasia hashi is a traditional Havyaka recipe.

Ingredients: 1 cup = 250 ml

  • Kesuvina gadde (colocasia) - a medium sized piece (as shown in pic)
  • Grated coconut - 1/2 cup
  • Curd -  2 tablespoons
  • Salt - according to taste

For seasoning:

  • Oil - 1 tspoon
  • Red chilly - 1
  • Mustard seeds - 1 tspoon
  • Urad dal - 1 tspoon
  • Hing - pinch

Method:

Step 1. Cook colocasia in a cooker and allow it to cool.


Cut kesu into halves
Cooked colocasia/ kesu
Step 2. Cut it into pieces.


Step 3. Grind grated coconut and add it to colocasia pieces. Mix well.




Step 4. Add curd and salt. Mix well.


Step 5. Season it with urad dal, mustard seeds, hing and red chilly. Enjoy!
