Mango tambli (Maavina kaayi tambli)


Mango tambli (Maavina kaayi tambli) Havyaka recipe 

In Havyaka cuisine, tambli is an important recipe. Mango tambli (Maavina kaayi tambli) is prepared especially in summer mango season.

Ingredients (1 cup = 250 ml):

  • Raw mango - 1
  • Grated coconut - 1/2 cup
  • Salt - according to taste

For seasoning:
  • Red chilly - 1
  • Mustard seeds - 1 teaspoon
  • Curry leaves - few
  • Hing - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Oil - one teaspoon
Preparation time: 10 to 15 minutes
Serves: 3-4

Method:

Step 1: Peel raw mango and cut it into smaller pieces. 



Step 2: Grind mango pieces along with grated coconut with sufficient quantity of water.



Step 3: Add waterAdd salt. Mix well. No need to add curd.


Step 4: Season it with mustard seeds, curry leaves, red chilly and hing powder in oil.


 Step 5: Enjoy!
