Elebadige soppina tambli is a tasty and healthy Havyaka recipe.
Ingredients: 1 cup = 250 ml

- Elebadige soppu - 10 strands
- Pepper - 9 to 10
- Cumin seeds - 1 tspoon
- Ghee - 1 tbl spoon
- Grated coconut - 3/4 cup
- Butter milk / curd - 3/4 cup
- Jaggery / sugar - 1 to 2 tbl spoons
- Salt - according to taste
Method:
Step 1. Wash and separate leaves from the strand. Roast elebadige leaves with pepper in ghee(1 tbl spoon) till raw smell of leaves disappears. Allow it to cool for few minutes.
Step 2. Grind roasted ingredients with grated coconut by adding sufficient water, grind it to fine paste.
Step 3. Add butter milk (3/4 cup) or if you are using curd, then mash it before adding it to tambli paste.

Step 4. Also add salt, jaggery and sufficient water. Enjoy!
