Ingredients: 1 cup = 250 ml
- Avalakki/poha (thick) - 1 cup
- Jaggery / sugar - 1 cup
- Sesame seeds - 1 tbl spoon
- Grated coconut - 3/4 cup
- Ghee - 3 tbl spoons
- Cardamom - 2
Step 1. In kadhai, pour poha(1 cup) and add ghee(3 tbl spoons). Mix well. Leave it for 10 minutes. (Do not switch on the stove yet).
Step 2. Switch on the stove and start roasting poha by stirring well till poha becomes crispy. Switch off the stove and shift it to other container.

Step 3. Now in the same thick bottomed kadhai, dry roast sesame seeds till gets aroma/ spluttering.
Step 4. Pour roasted sesame seeds to already roasted poha and mix well.
Step 5. In kadhai add grated coconut(3/4 cup) and jaggery(1 cup), mix well. Switch on the stove and stir well till jaggery melts.
Step 6. Switch off the stove when the mixture thickens. Add cardamom powder. Mix.
Step 7. Pour the roasted ingredients to coconut+jaggery mixture and mix well.
Step 8. Enjoy!
